Rend:Bloodbath explosions count as a separate Rend instance but are capped at 2 due to Lamentation.Ambo’s pride can’t exceed the Lamentation cap of 2.
Ambo’s does oscillate between main and off-hand, since WW does.Ambo’s does apply the equipped rune from the skillbar.
A Rend instance snapshots CHC upon cast.Battle Rage:Into the Fray does not have a cap, increases CHC in sheet and therefore works with Rend.Battler Rage:Bloodshed has 0 effect on/for Rend damage (except for the base rune crit), because Rend does not crit.Any debuff-CHC (Iceblink, Multishot, Corpse Lance, Bash, etc.) will not scale Rend. Only CHC and CHD that you see in your detail sheet, will scale rend.Each Rend tick has (1 + CHC * CHD) as a separate multiplier.Rend scales with CHC & CHD but CAN NOT crit.WW, and therefore Ambo’s, oscillates between mainhand and off-hand. The off-hand can be any off-rolled weapon for supporting purposes (CDR, AD etc.). Rend’s selfcast damage is only calculated off mainhand.Rend’s base duration is 6 seconds, not 5 (the tooltip is straight up incorrect).I was never having problems running out of fury but I had been thinking of cubing Aquila Cuirass which made me want to stay topped off.Tested everything I could think of to test about rend. Thanks for the replies! After some more testing it did turn out to be the AS that made the difference. I know wind shear will keep the fury up once you have a pack but then aren’t you losing the IPB and Taeguk stacks between packs which will get you 1-shot? How does the Istvan’s Paired Blades version work? Without the unlimited fury you can’t move with WW by default.Profiles for each if that helps (note that the SC barb is just for farming so it has some odd gear and skill choices): The SC Barb is much better geared and 1100+ paragon (283 paragon for HC) but even maxing out RCR on the HC my fury is still going down. I have both a SC and HC WW Barb with very similar gear, both using BK weapons, but cannot figure out why my HC Barb is slowly losing fury as I WW.
